Free range kids! That's funny, but wonderful. We all grew up "ranging free", but it's kind of rare nowadays. Parents tend to be overprotective it seems like.
I don't know about raising your kids in a caravan park, but in any case they are lucky to get to play outside.
When I came here in the US I had a culture shocked!! I didn't see any children playing around compare to my county Philippines. I did knew the answer pretty soon after that ^_^ This place is a good place for kids to run around and just exhaust their in born stamina rather than playing computer games ^_^
"Free range kids" we don't see enough of those in the urban US anymore. We raised ours in a rural area where they floated in the creek, climbed on rocks and walked the dog in the woods. They were definitely free range.
I late getting back to everyone this week, so forgive me. I want to thank you for the visit and the lovely comment on my Rusty old sign.
I love your free range children sign and I am going to steal the idea and have one made for my sister. She runs a day camp for children and it would be a nice warning at her gate.
I am not familiar with the word "caravan park" am assuming it is what we in the US call a RV park. Nice to learn something new.

Yes, I remember the good old care free free range days too. We had great fun! Nice find!
ReplyDeleteThat is funny! I imagine in a caravan park they would need to be free range to get out from underfoot!
ReplyDeleteHehe! Free Range Kids! Good one!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, that's funny. But come to think of it - I too was a FREE RANGE kid in my time.
ReplyDeleteI guess people now aren't used to seeing kids playing outdoors.

ReplyDeleteLove the wording of this sign! Very creative! For a place to reserve an area for children to play like this is most encouraging!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheerful way to warn drivers!
ReplyDeleteI want to have a sign like that to put in my parents' place. Oh, fun!

I like this one - this makes you stop and pay attention moreso than the common "watch for children".
ReplyDeleteFree range kids - the best kind!
