How Green Is The Sea

A glazed tile on a house wall in the village of Coet-Bugat, France.  The language is Breton (Breizh) and the lettering and design attracted me. I liked it even more when I looked up the words.  It says "How green is the sea".

  3. I agree this sign is beautifully done. And the words itself is very intriguing "how green is the sea"....when is the sea become green? ^_^Signs

  6. I like to think of the sea as blue; I though it was only green along the east coast of the US :-(

    Neat sign!!

  7. I think the words and lettering look Gaelic, too. Whenever I see the sea it looks more green than blue. In the Caribbean it was blue and clear...but then maybe I am color bling. Genie
