where there is a nice view up at the top of Broxton village but some find the undergrowth smells more interesting

ReplyDeleteAlso, on your post below, you mention the pollarded wood -does that come from the pollard willows? The latter were the trees that are in Vincent van Gogh's paintings... that's why I'm curious:)
Cumbria is the home of the English Lake District so known for its lakes, hills, and oh and rain, Jeanette, I have shown a corner of the south west sometimes known as lakeless Lakeland. Willows are scarce here although any tree can be pollarded but maybe I should have called the wood in my photo coppiced.
