Wandering around the other side and shooting into the sun which, from the notice on the gate, it will be hoped will be shining on Sunday
when there is a Bandstand Picnic with music
And maybe one of the teams will be on the bowling greens. No matches on Monday, no players and not a trace
of a bowl like this on the green only two seagulls so as no action photographs to be taken here is another game played with spherical objects -
boules players in Belgium.
An entry to ABC Wednesday. A journey through the alphabet.

Love the enchanting style of the bandstand! It seems to be in a delightful setting for enjoying music outdoors!
I agree! very charming.

We've started having one day in the summers when bands from all over come and play in our local Memorial park - not all at once, though! It's quite fun to go and listen.

Dear friend,
I could see myself relaxing in the first picture and writing love poetry (smile). Thanks for sharing those lovely shots.
For years when we lived up North, we had a bandstand every Thursday night in the summer, to take your chair or blanket and listen to great music.
Live music brought to us by bands means great energy, music and festivities. Thanks for taking me there!
Lovely!

Beautiful bandstand!
Great choices for B. There is something appealing to me about an empty bandstand. Carver, ABC Wed. Team
Beautiful bandstand, which no doubt is the centre of its town, as it used to be in small towns in the Netherlands. Thanks for your comment of the Chagall window? I didn't know that the Danes do not pronounce the J in Benjamin. In my country we pronounce every letter in this name.
Have a great day!
Wil, ABC Team.
Hope the weather is fine for your band concert on Sunday Joy - Dave
