Welcome Sign

I couldn't see a crooked birch but it lives on in the house gate sign. They specialise in horse riding holidays here, many bridleways to trot along and panoramic views of the hills in this quiet corner of the Lake District.

I like the lettering on the sign (and the picture of the crooked birch).

I like the sign. It made me think how crooked the birch could be. Happy Tuesday!

Looks like a lovely lane behind the fence! Would love to see that birch tree.

It looks like a great getaway! Between the lovely lane and the intriguing sign (is there really a crooked birch in there) -- really makes you want to get in there and explore.
