Or are they puzzled why they are walking on water, fluffing their feather against the cold, these two were having a morning snooze Getting their Zeds in.. Which is the better insulator in zero temperatures, feathers
or wool? Perhaps
technical fabrics as modelled by this human. The sun on its way down over the Irish Sea, still not cold enough to freeze salty water.
A 'nice' coating of ice over the snow at the top of the mountain, the trig point marking its Zenith.
And we zealously expected some good views, well the snow capped hills are somewhere in the murk.
Let me finish where I started. Zounds, some zany kids are taking their skate boards on to the lake.
This is the end Round 6 of Mrs Nesbitt's zestful meme. Are you in for Round 7? There are thousands of words out there and more being added all the time. I wonder why I struggled thinking of one for Z.

Terrific Zs for the day, reminded me of how I'm so glad that the winter has passed and we're enjoying lovely blue skies and sunshine -- hope you are, too! Have a great week!

As it rarely colder outside, that it is inside of our fridge, believe me, this surely was alluring. Please have a great Wednesday.

Since the temps are 98 F. today I will enjoy your Zero. Love the shot of the ducks "walking" on water.
A very zealous post! And, it sent shivers down my spine! Brrrrr!!!!
I get chilled when it hits the 50's! I'd never last in those kind of temperatures!
zounds! what a round of Z words!

Great Z's! I'm so glad the zeroes have passed and I'm finally warm. The ducks on ice are funny - amazing that their feet don't freeze.
Oh, how I long for a bit more coolness. Although it can stop at the 23 degree mark, it doesn't have to go all the way down to zero!
A cooling reminder of how cold it was, and what we have to look forward to come December! Enjoy the summertime.
It's a bit strange to sit here looking at the frozen pics while it's still 90 degrees outside at 11pm! With our heat index topping the triple digits, zero sounds almost attractive! Great shots. See you next time around!
I love story type posts! Was figuring out where it could be when you mentioned the Irish Sea! Oh the memories of IOM came flooding in! Not long to go now till June 2011 when we make our way over again!
Great to see you are aboard for Round 7! Thanks so much for contributing,
