the seawall, and then to the seashore. The elderflower growing on the banking. It does not seem long ago
that the bluebells were diluting the verdant green with their intense blue, and the
dandelions had made their first appearance, in profusion, as if to alert the gardeners, hey we are back, the great survivors.
But eventually the fields will turn a lush and
verdant green in the valleys
and on the coast with the patchwork fields.

Ah, there couldn't possibly be photos more welcome to my green-starved desert eyes. Thank you for this post!
Beautiful photos of this lovely verdant countryside. I especially like the last patchwork valley.
I thought of you last weekend as we returned to Heysham! I did wave!
A great post - as ever. Thanks so much.

Wonderful shot. In the first shot, it has been arranged beautifully.
'verdant' is such a lovely descriptive word.
beautiful scenery, too!
No vaulting for me!! But verdant is something you have a lot of in your neck of the woods! Beautiful!
Absolutely perfect! Makes me feel good just to look at these photos!
The countryside is so beautiful. I wish bluebells grew here as abundantly as they do there!
What a varied and beautiful collection of photos.
